Surasi Kusolwong at P.S. 1
Here I am at P.S.1, sitting in heaps of clumped wool and industrial thread waste, a vine of it on my head. Bankok artist, Surasi Kusolwong has floored a room with it and hidden inside are gold necklaces which you can keep if you find them. The layers of cloth are so thick and intertwined that it would be easier to find the proverbial needle in a haystack. The real treasure was watching the kids throw themselves into it, let themselves go, falling backwards in linty joy.

Thanks, Robin. My website still isn’t working well. I have to go into the website directly to see what comments are posted. But the last time the program was changed, it wiped out all my subscribers, so I’m afraid to complain. Best, Rochelle
