SIMPLE WRITING TIP

When you find a piece of writing that you admire, write down some lines and keep them in a file on your computer. My file is called “Sock Writing.” Even if you never look at them again, you will have put them somewhere in your gray matter and something of what you loved will spring forth in your own voice.
