Rockaway Playland on Cinerama in the 1950’s

My husband remembers going to see Cinerama in Manhattan.
It opened with a thrilling roller coaster rider that swept you out of
your seat.Everyone in the theater was gasping.
It was the roller coaster at Rockaways Playland.
