It’s important for me to say that thanks to Professor Marvel in the Wizard of Oz (where he sneaks a look at Dorothy’s picture before telling her what he sees in his crystal ball), I didn’t believe in true psychic abilities. It wasn’t until later in life that I began to experience many, many situations where I started to say, “Coincidence? I don’t think so!” That being said, if I am frequently faced with such things, I came to accept that other people surely could have true psychic powers. I found Rochelle’s essay to be extremely informative, learning how she came to take on the mantle of her bubbie and figure out how to use her gift in a way that works best for everyone. It must be wonderful for Rochelle to receive positive feedback and pictures from those that appreciated her help/work and be able to experience great personal fulfillment. Thanks to Rochelle’s mother and husband, she found the perfect title. Loved this essay!

Thank goodness you turned your ability into a phone business otherwise it would be hell. There a lot of crazies on the street that you don’t want to encounter . You are doing something wonderful for your clients as well as yourself. Your grandmother certainly had the ability and it’s wonderful you inherited it.
