Doctors asking for donations?
So I went to the doctor for my annual physical. A few weeks later, I receive what looks like a Xmas card from the medical corporation that my doctors are part of. Reading it more carefully, I saw that they were soliciting funds from me, expecting me to give them a Xmas present. What? How about the hour and a half that I spent waiting for the appointment that it took me two months to get? What about the technician who spent fifteen minutes trying to find a vein to poke. How about that my arm is still bruised and swollen from her?
I don’t understand doctors trying to solicit funds from patients. Is there a doctor in the house to explain this?

Unbelievable that Northwell expects me to give them money for such bad service or anything beyond my insurance.
