1984 at the Hudson Theater
I read Orwell’s 1984 in high school. I knew it was anti-Communism, but since I never lived under a totalitarian regime, I thought it was more like sci-fi. Newspeak, Ignorance is Strength, Ignorance is Power all sounded satirical. Now it feels all too real.
OLIVIA WILDE as Julia in her Broadway debut is an actress deserving of a Tony.
