When Friends Complain about their ailments
Someone on FB asked what is the most annoying thing to you about growing older. Having gotten off the phone with a friend who compulsively lists her ailments, I had to write “people of any age who compulsively talk about their ailments. Then, as if the Universe sent me to it, I read this line by Robert Lowell in his poem, OBIT.
