Don’t give up on sending out your work to publishers!

The process has become increasingly arduous. With the proliferation of MFA programs, the competition is increasingly stiffer. Some of the rejection letters sting, such as “study your craft.” I’ve been studying since 1985 and have won awards. Expletive, expletive. But today, I am grateful to get an email from Ponder Review accepting two of my poems–Last Wishes and Stones in Your Pocket.
