MAD MABEL by SALLY HEPWORTH

Being older myself, I usually don’t care for curmudgeonly characters, but Mabel is so witty and has such a compelling backstory that I am completely taken by this book. Lots of references to Anne of Green Gables. I may have to reread it to get the fullness of this book.
