This memoir is an eye-opening account of how Asian people were treated in the U.S.. by the government and by citizens. We need to know each others’ histories, especially at a time when the Holocaust is not included in the study of WWll and slavery is not covered in the story of the Civil War in middle school and high school textbooks.
