Love this, Rochelle, & have forwarded it to several friends who are teachers. My life has been crazy for the past 3 1/2 years due to deaths in the family & messes to be dealt with because of them. I’ve learned way too much about the CA probate system & what happens when the gardener takes over a family’s finances. It would make a great memoir if I had the strength to go through it all again, but that probably won’t happen. Looking forward to getting back to a semi-normal life, hopefully early next year. In the meantime, I’ve really been enjoying being your posts in my own quiet way. Thank you. Love, Vicki

I always wonder how a poorly written book winds up on film. Thats the case today of a blockbuster movie.

You’re right, Man. If it’s a bad book, the movie can only be worse.

Thanks for posting. Clears up why I enjoy books so much more than movies and even prefer listening to books than seeing movies. I also appreciate that I can put down the book and pick it up again, taking in the story in shorter doses – except of course, for those few books that I cannot stop reading until the end.
